• 3 cupsfresh water, for blending

Chili

• 12 slicesbacon
• 12 lbbeef chuck roast
• 3onion
• 18 clovesgarlic
• 3 cupsbrewed coffee
• 4 ½ cupsbeer
• 6 cupswater
• 3 tbspground cumin
• 1 ½ tspground cinnamon
• 1 ½ tspground cloves
• 1 ½ tspground allspice

• 1 ½ tspcayenne
• salt
• ¾ cupmasa harina
• 1Mexican hot chocolate tablet
• grated cheddar, to serve
• chopped onion, to serve
